In 2018, unusual activity began in the forests of the Urals. Trucks started travelling along a new road towards Kytlym, a settlement in the northern Sverdlovsk region. They carried steel, cement, cables, transformers, mining equipment, ventilation systems and equipment designed to protect against chemical and radioactive contamination.
